Bitroot, the parallel EVM Layer 1 blockchain built for AI, marked its presence at TOKEN2049 Singapore 2026 with a keynote on the main stage, an exhibition booth at Marina Bay Sands, and two co-hosted side events during TOKEN2049 week. Held on 7 and 8 October, TOKEN2049 Singapore drew more than 25,000 attendees, making it one of the largest gatherings of founders, investors and builders in the global Web3 industry.
Main-Stage Keynote: The Parallel AI Blockchain for the Machine Economy
On the TOKEN2049 main stage, Juan Ortega, CEO delivered Bitroot’s keynote, “The Parallel AI Blockchain for the Machine Economy.” The talk set out why AI agents, autonomous applications and machine-to-machine payments need a base layer that can execute transactions in parallel, verify AI workloads onchain and settle at the speed machines operate.
“AI agents are becoming economic actors in their own right, and they need infrastructure that keeps up with them,” said Juan Ortega, CEO of Bitroot. “TOKEN2049 is where the industry decides what gets built next. Our message this week was simple: the machine economy needs a chain designed for it from day one, and Bitroot is that chain.”
Exhibition Booth at Marina Bay Sands
Across both days of the main event, the Bitroot team met developers, investors, exchanges and ecosystem partners at its booth inside the TOKEN2049 exhibition hall, with live walkthroughs of the Bitroot testnet, its official DEX and bridge, and the developer tools available to teams building AI-native applications.
Two Co-Hosted Side Events During TOKEN2049 Week
Bitroot extended its presence beyond the main venue by co-hosting two side events with leading industry partners:
Web3 x AI In Action (6 October, Tahir Building, Robinson Road): an official TOKEN2049 side event hosted by Microsoft, Injective Foundation and Web3Labs, with Bitroot as co-host. The evening brought together infrastructure builders, AI practitioners, institutional investors and policymakers for a keynote and two panels on where onchain finance and AI meet, from autonomous agents executing onchain to AI-native financial applications and the regulatory frameworks shaping them across Asia.
Ultra Connect Singapore (7 October, Marina Bay Sands): a business networking evening co-hosted with Web3Labs as part of the Ultra Web3 Festival, attended by more than 1,000 investors, financial institutions, funds, family offices, founders and corporate decision-makers.
“Singapore was a milestone week for Bitroot,” said Jerry Yu, Head of Growth at Bitroot, who led the team’s TOKEN2049 programme. “Between the main stage, the booth and two side events with partners like Microsoft, Injective and Web3Labs, we put Bitroot in front of the builders and capital that will shape the machine economy. We are already following up on the conversations that started here.”
Bitroot’s TOKEN2049 appearance follows its platinum sponsorship of GWDC 2026 in Seoul the week before, as part of a sustained push into the Asian and global markets in the second half of 2026.
