Alpha Watt has supported numerous well-paying jobs for electricians to maintain critical electrical infrastructure, welders to support facility construction and retrofitting, and technicians to oversee data center operations. These roles are in rising demand as the AI economy expands, with Goldman Sachs forecasting U.S. data center power demand to grow 15% annually through 2030, driven by AI and high-performance computing needs. By training and hiring locally, Alpha Watt is empowering UP residents with career opportunities in the fast-growing tech sector. In fact, it was recently reported that the U.S. needs close to 1 million new construction trade workers over the next two years.
