The Outkast NFT Collection first launched its discord and socials on September 2, 2021. On almost its one month anniversary, the Outkast public launch on October 1, 2021, sold out in just 44 mins. In the coming days, the Outkast NFT collection saw a swarm of secondary sales. Bringing its total sales volume to over a whopping 600ETH ($2,184,036.80 USD) worth of volume in just FIVE days, despite outrageously high gas fees from the Ethereum Network on three out of the five days.
“Call me biased but we believe in the hard work that has gone into this project. The project creators literally poured their souls into these beautiful creations you see here. The same goes for the utility that is currently under development. We are all extremely grateful for the robust community that has been brought together by this project and we have no intentions of letting them down.” –Tatted Lawyer
A project is only as strong as its community behind it. The Outkast collection can now boast around 4,000 unique wallets that hold at least one Outkast. With over 74% of the Outkast NFT collection not listed for sale on the secondary market, it is clear that this community recognizes the efforts being made by the developers; and understand the potential this project has. With a roadmap that stretches itself into 2023, the community has quite a lot to be excited about.
Forty Eight (48) hours after public launch the artwork revealed and was met with an overwhelmingly positive reaction from the Outkast community as whole. A quick search of the tag #WEARETHEOUTKAST on Twitter, would allow anyone to see the level of excitement all throughout reveal day and beyond.
As the Outkast project moves into its Phase 2, the creators are confident with where things are right now. However, the real fireworks begin once the Dev team begins to activate the Outkast NFT’s utilities.
Project founder, Mx, announced through discord, that the team was currently finalizing the programming that will launch the staking mission utility of the Outkast NFTs. These staking missions will allow Outkast holders to stake their Outkast NFTs in special missions that will create Outkast Shards. These Outkast Shards in turn can be used throughout the Outkast Metaverse, merch store, liquidated on exchanges, to purchase new items or/or traits for Outkasts and so much more.
As described by the Dev Team, these staking missions will allow Outkast holders to gain Outkast Shards or Experience Points that will go toward leveling up the Outkast NFT. Yes, you heard that right, inspired by so many games, in the Outkast Metaverse, you can actually level up your Outkast NFT. Leveling up the Outkast will not only increase its rarity but increase the amount of royalties earned through staking missions completed by that Outkast. With an estimated launch date around the third week of October, Outkast holders, referred to as the Enji Elite within the Outkast discord; have been left to speculate the possibilities of, different fusions, staking missions and combination parties and traits of the individual Outkasts that they’d try, in order to maximize the efficiency of the party. Right on cue the Outkast team released a sneak peek of their “fusion simulator” that will allow Outkast holders to preview possible fusions between their Outkasts.
